First, based on current information and recommendations by the medical community, ATVMB unanimously decided that it will be postponing its Annual General Meeting and after-meeting ride that was scheduled for April 18th. A new date is yet to be determined.

Second, and more importantly to the riders, we recognize that there is uncertainty as to how this affects us all as riding season approaches. While ATVMB encourages enthusiasts to enjoy the beautiful Manitoba outdoors we first - and more importantly - encourage people to stay safe, on and off the trails. The situation with COVID-19 is evolving and changing rapidly and it is unknown at this time how long measures will be in place to keep people safe. We ask all enthusiasts to keep this in mind and strongly recommend adhering to the recommendations outlined by the medical community when making decisions on whether or not they head out on the trails. At this time those recommendations include:

• avoiding gatherings,
• practicing social distancing,
• self-isolating,
• engaging in enhanced personal cleanliness, most notably regarding hand hygiene,
• if you feel sick or have any of the symptoms identified by the health community - stay at home.

Practicing these prevention measures is the best way to win the fight against COVID-19.
