ATV Association of Manitoba Recent News Sprague RCMP Promote ATV Awareness Posted on: Monday September 29, 2014 - 10:32 am CDT The RCMP took to the trails in southeast Manitoba during the month of September to promote ATV education and awareness rather than focusing on ticketing. Gary Hora, president of ATVMB member club Woodridge Sand Hogs had the following to offer:
"I think it's brought a lot more awareness to some of the rules that people simply weren't aware of," Hora describes. "Maybe the riders hadn't followed up with it, but now that they see RCMP out there more often they are taking time to educate themselves and ask questions within the ATV community. So I think it's definitely done its job."
